I am looking for anyone with any information about the people mentioned in a
Bible that I purchased recently. One of which was an Edwards, Benjamin
Edwards, Jr. Please contact via newsgroup, e-mail {} or

These words were written in the Bible as follows:

The subscribers, having purchased a Bible in 6 sums, which has
amend to each chapter cont. Therein Mr. Scotts exposition of it &
feeling desireous that the privilage of perusing then should be
equally enjoyed by us, & that they may be kep in that order which
their important caracter demands, here connected the following
rules by which they are to be managed & to which we bind
ourselves, our heirs & executors & assigns for ever;
1st If any propriator shal lone from his house either of the
afforesaid volloms, on any pretence whatever, with out first
obtaining the consent of the rest, he shall forfeit & pay to them the
sum of one Dollar;
2nd Each vollum shal be changed in cors of order as our names are
here subscribed, once in 6 months;
3rd Whosoever shall refuse to deliver one of said volloms to the rest
in cors after the time prefect is out shall pay unto the rest of the
owner one Dollar;
4th There is to be peticular care of sd. vollums as it respects
cleannes & turning of leaves.
