Subject: FROM THE LISTOWNER: Thanks; How to Unsubscribe
Date: Mon, 28 Jun 1999 14:13:52 -0500

Hello,everyone,

Thanks for all the messages of support sent to me privately. Much
appreciated.

Some people are having trouble unsubscribing. You should be able to
unsubscribe yourself by sending a message to

with the word

unsubscribe

in the BODY of the message. Subject heading in this case doesn't matter.

Please make sure you have added the -request at the end, which sends the
unsubscribe request to the automated server.

If you get back some kind of a message that says you could not be unsubbed
because you are not on the list and you KNOW you are, the problem is that
when you tried to unsub, you used an email address that was different from
the one you are subscribed under. Even one letter will cause this problem.
I have found some on msn who have had problems because they were subscribed
with the word "classic" in their address. That's a good example of what I
mean.

If you get that letter, it doesn't come from me, it comes from the automated
server. Send me a message to , and tell me your current
email address in the body of your message. My current email program makes
it difficult to find the headers and try to ferret out the address. If you
have any ideas about how you might have been subscribed, please let me know,
and I will work with you to try to get you unsubbed.

I'm sorry that some have felt I have been unresponsive, and I am trying to
make up for that now.

Several people have asked about the Nacogdoches County Families book. I have
to finish up an end of quarter financial report but look for all the
information about the book here very shortly, including all the surnames
included in it, and all of the details about ordering.

Thanks again to ALL for your support and for all the wonderful contributions
you make.

Sincerely,

Pam Phillips
