You might want to check the web site for the Texas Handbook online --

Once you click on that site, click on The Handbook of Texas; type in the search box, "indian reservation"; and go from there.
In quickly scanning the various info available, #6 indicates that the Brazos reservation was abandoned on July 31, 1859, and #8, surely indicates that there was an Indian reservation in what is now
Throckmorton County.
