I don't know if I can help you or not. There was an Anthony Eames who settled in Marshfield, Mass. but he was a son of Thomas and Millicent Eames of Fordington, St. George's, Dorset, England. Thomas Eames, my ancestor, was born Thomas Ainge 10 July 1614 in Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire, England, and was in America by 1634. His name is variously spelled Ainge, Aymes, Aynge, Eames and Ames. The other early Eames is Robert Eames who also settled in Massachusetts. Some researchers believe Thomas and Robert were brothers but I have found no records to confirm this.
