Yes, this appears to be the same Simon. Here's what I have:
1.
Juriaen/Jeurian/Jeuriaen/Jeuryaen/Jurrie/Jurrian/Juryan/Juryaen/George
Blanck, Sr., b. ca. 1616; d. > 1662; m. 1643, NYDRC, Tryntje Claes
(Claeszen, Klaessen) (b. ca. 1618, d. > Sep 1688), wid of Barent
Simonsen. In 1634, he was the Captain of the carvel St Martyn, (or the
Hope) which accompanied the new Director, van Twiller to New Amsterdam.
He also brought Govert Loockermans and Jacob van Kouwenhoven to America,
and also probably Dom. Everardus Bogardus. He was a skipper, engaged in
trade with the Swedes on the Schuykill and South Rivers as early as
1643. In 1645, he voyaged to Rhode Island. In 1646, he was ordered to
leave by a Swedish officer, under threat of confiscation of his ship and
cargo. Ground brief, Manhattan, Apr 15, 1647. His was house # 3, Block
G (South of the Fort), of the Castello Plan, bought May 26, 1649, one of
2 houses (east half of lot) on the lot formerly owned by Jacob Jacobsen
Roy, purchased from Marritie Jans, widow of Dirck Cornelissen, next to
that of Annetje Jans Bogardus. His widow, married dau, and a son still
lived there, in 1686. He had a defective grant for No. 11, (or lot 6)
Block J (now No. 18 Pearl St), and he lost the suit brought by Gillis
Pietersen, who claimed that he had previously bought the lot. He was
granted a Small Burgher Right for New Amsterdam Apr 17, 1657. He took
the oath of allegiance to the British in 1664. He was a goldsmith and
silversmith in NYC. He did work for the Van Cortlandts, Livingstons,
Beekmans, etc. which can be seen at Winterthur, Yale University, Museum
of the City of NY, Tarrytown DRC] She had m1. Barent Simonsen, and had a
son Simon Barentsen. Members, NYDRC, 1686, l. Pearl St, between State
and Whitehall.
11. Simon/Symon BARENTSZEN, b. Amsterdam; m. Nov 18, 1661, New
Amsterdam, Wyntie Arents/Ariens/Ariaens (van New Amsterdam). Members
NYDRC, removed to Brooklyn.
