If you have hit a brick wall on your Durrett family, Why not have a Durrett male do a DNA test for your Durrett line. This can be your husband, father, brother, uncle or cousin who has the surname Durrett.
Our goal is to find out how all the Durrett's who settled in Virginia in the late 1600s to early 1700s are related. Won't you please HELP SOLVE THE DURRETT MYSTERY by having your Durrett line tested at Family Tree DNA. We need more Durrett males to DNA testing before we can put the puzzle together.
If a family member has completed DNA testing with any of the following labs, RELATIVE GENETICS, DNAHERITAGE, ANCESTRY, OXFORD ANCESTORS and GENBASE, their results can be transferred to Family Tree DNA for a fee. Please email me for more information at durrettdnaproject AT yahoo.com
