to Probate Apr. 1, 1861. Wife Nancy. Lot of land 48 on 4th District
of originally Muscogee now Marion County it being the place on which I
now live. Slaves: Os age 34, Horton 33, Mary 35, Sarah 35. Son William
Washington Duke, son Francis A. Duke, son William W. Duke, daughter
Martha wife of William M. Johnson, daughter Sarah wife of Nicholas H.
Jordan, daughter Harriet Elizabeth wife of George Nelson, daughter Mary
W. wife of Francis M. Roberson, daughters Subrina Jane and Rebecca N.
and children of deceased sons Anderson W. Duke and Arthur A. Duke.
Executor: son Francis A. Duke. Wit: George McDuffie, Wm. H. Kemp,
William G. Steed.

Know all men by these presents that I Perrin Farrow do promise & agree
to make or cause to be made a good & lawful title to a certain lot of
land being & lying in the twenty fifth district Wilkinson known by
Number one hundred & four which tract of land I will make a good &
lawful title at any time called on unto Adam Pool or his assigns under
the penalty of one thousand dollars. As witness my hand & seal this
20th day of Jan'y 1808. Signed Perrin (X) Farrow. Signed Sealed in
presence of Thos. Watson & Taylor (X) Duke."
