I have Riley Duggins out of Garrard County KY. His 2nd married to a Soudesr whom Grandmother was my Great Aunt in Ohio, They had 4 children. That would have been the end of it BUT a lady contacted me and asked me to include her Grandmother and family as she was his first wife and there was nothing on her family on line, so I did and she gave me lot of infor as she knew about his second wife (Souder) that I did not even have, What I did have was some picture, of the Duggins-Souders family which she did not have. Sent her copies. To say she was thrilled was an understatement. But she got me started on this whole Duggins things and its gotten out of hand. Got more Duggins now then any other line. Its a facination family the way they pop up all over. I never knew about Catherine, It really make sense those that she was more then a in law but that she was Patience sister made sense. Do you have a marriage for the Catherine and where ? ?
I have Legacy Family Tree but I seen a friend Family Tree and I really like mine. If you have updates you can do PDF or Adobe files and I can read them. I really good at digging out thing, and they put lots on the interr net in the last couple of years in all kinds of out of the way links, and I might have a few odd and end you can use. If you want to send me something. I sure I can find a way to open it.
I see people have a Sally Wisdom also as his wife ??
I agree that Census are shakey to use but up till 1880 sometimes that all you have. I also see people shoehore there people into another line. I saw when they saw MO and said the person was born in Mississippi and had a whole family tree based on that Mississippi when the person was born in Missouri and the family was on there way from Kentucky to Texas. But is fun sorting them out, which I giess is what I am doing. Found same family unde different first name,. Wished the Duggins had used a bit more variety in first names. I bet you got about 50 or more John.
Question I found a Silas Risley, that might me the same one ??
Taney County Missouri was officially organized on January 6, 1837 from a portion of Greene County and has since helped give birth to several more counties. Originally Taney covered a much larger area than we see today. Just 4 years after it's formation, territory was taken to create Ozark County
