Jan'et Karen Douglas, 44, of New Britain, died Saturday (November 29, 2003). Born in Nurnberg, Germany, she lived in Silver Spring, MD, moving to New Britain five years ago. A graduate of Paint Branch High School, Burtonsville, MD in 1976, she graduated from Nursing Assistant School in Silver Spring, MD in 1982. Daughter of Virginia (Miller) Douglas, of New Britain and the late Col. Will Douglas, Jr. (U.S. Army Ret.), she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in New Britain. Besides her beloved mother, she was the much loved sister of Bruce Douglas of Avon; Krystopher Douglas, Sr. of Columbus, GA; Lynda Chivis of Hampton, Virginia and Karen Hinton of Brooklyn, NY. Jan'et is the devoted aunt of Krystopher Douglas Jr., Alexis Hinton, Shane Douglas, Jazmin Chivis, Adrienne Douglas, Krystopher Hinton, Charles Chivis Jr., Gwendolynn Douglas and Brooke Douglas. She was a loving niece, cousin, sister-in-law and friend. Jan'et will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved h!
er. Funeral services are Thursday 7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.
