Dear Frank,

I know you are actually looking for genealogical info, but I wonder if you
thought to check Wikipedia for village info, which is sometimes "hit or
miss" for content and reliability. There is a nice photo of the Catholic
church and quite a bit of other information:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futog

I have been researching Batschka churches and found this additional
information on the Roman Catholic Church in a tourist book on Sacral
Buildings in Vojvodina:

The church was built from 1906 t0 1908 and has two prominent bell towers as
designed by Ferenz Weninger in "pseudo Gothic style." The inscription above
the main entrance dedicated to the founder of the church is the evidence
that the Dutchess Kotek gave the money for its construction. The richness
of the church is also reflected in the paintings of Joszef Ferenz Falconer,
an artist who lived at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th
century. The parish home dates back to 1776 or 77.

It is called the "Heart of Jesus Catholic Church", or "Roman Catholic Church
of the Christ's Heart." Thought you would find this additional info
interesting.

Best regards,
Nancy Fredenberg
