John Diefenbaker, - his father was German and his mother was Scottish, born
in Neudorf, Ontario.
The original name could've been Diefenbacher, then to Diefenbacker, or
Diefenbaker. Since the letters "ch" are hard to pronounce in the English
language, the letters "ck" and "k"are substituted.
Tiefenbach and Diefenbach, are the same names, different dialect.
