Yes, my grandfather always called Sabina affectionately" Diefenbach". My
grandmother, who was literate, corrected him but he insisted that this was the
correct pronunciation. I believe Helen also agreed that the spelling should
have had a 'D". Susan, I would suggest you contact Jack Reichert for more
information. Helen owns the house that Jack lives in, and they are quite friendly.
Maybe Jack has some good info
