Pat and Mary,

I would love to see any research you have on the DODDS line (my wife's
side). An uncle has done some research on it to, George DODDS (b:1820) and
Grace ADAIR.

Do you have any information in relation to these DODDS.

Hello Pat,
I would love to share what I have . However, here is the story.
When I moved my material from Pedigree to Legacy, my Scottish research did
not go over. My eldest daughter, who knows a whole lot more than me, about
computers, says it is there somewhere, but not to be found !
SOOO I am inputting manually all my Scots research.
Worse, the Pedigree will not printoff, so I cannot even get that for you.
Alas, I do not know how to e mail what is, on the programme, but, there is
always the postoffice way to do this.
if you send me your snail mail address I will get it off to you this week.
I have not put a lot, yet on the DOD(D)S, as I have had contact with my KING
line, & very exciting my Montgomery line, & she is my Grandmothers neice.
So I have concentrated on those 2 lines, but I will send you what I have &
when I get the rest, into this machine, I will, later, send that off to
Just to remind you from any emails, I only have David DOD(D)S from 1824
marrying in Traquair, Peebleshire.
I know that David was NOT the son of Thomas Dodds & Jean Cowen,
or; Robert Dodds & Isabel Hume. I have seen Death Certs of those 2 Davids.
I am about to see if David came from Berwickshire, as he had 3 adult
children there in the vicinity of 1857/8, ( they had children there.) I need
to do some work on 1851 census from there. However, the LDS does not open
here, in N.Z., until school holidays finish end of January.
As you see, someone up there has a snitch on me.!!
My daughter is coming home from New Orleans on Wednesday our time, (for 6
weeks, )then there is a family birthday party at Taupo. !!
So I can post what is on the computer, but because I have to do some
( so that she does not have to fight her way in through the cobwebs), I may
not get much more on the computer for over a week.
I am happy to send what is here, & update later.
Glad to hear from you, I do so hope that we find a connection.
Just to show that my request for your snail mail is legit, this is us,
