This is the first time in this correspondence I have seen a reference to
anything close to the MacLennan Clan surname. ("The translation
given for Balmakane is the Baile of the McKanes, which reminds me of the
FitzKanes associated with the Mclellan").

Does anyone have any information on MacLennans?
