I found something in O'Hart. He has Finfailig as one of Fergus Mor's sons,
and O'Dugan as a direct descendant of Finfailig. I then found a DNA project
for Duggan (the chap that I match 35/37 spells his surname Dougan). The
Duggan site has 14 haplotypes, 5 of which look like M222 plus a 6th that
looks like M222 in that it has DYS385=11,13 but it has DYS392=13.
Add my Dougan to the Duggans and we have 7 M222's in Dougan/Duggan/Dugan out
of 15 haplotypes.
Interesting.
McHarg remains a mystery to me but I think I must do some more digging.
Sandy

Do you know of any connection between Dougan and Mac Buircce?
No. not really. MacLysaght mentions several groups with the name in
Munster and Connacht with no real info on any of them (O Duggan).
