I was talking about gd's between haplotypes rather than modals, but I think
you're right - an analysis would be useful. I have a database of some 450
M222 67 marker haplotypes so I'll give it a go.

My guess is that you are spot on at the starting point (very small
percentage at low genetic distance), I don't think your suggested mean of 10
is far off (I think it may be a little higher) but I think you may be
surprised at the frequency of 15+. I'll post the results once I have them.
