As Ken has pointed out, although the chances of finding a new SNP downstream
of M222+ are slim, the fact that a large part of M222+'s existence is within
genealogical or quasi-genealogical timeframe, means that the potential for
providing answers to demographic puzzles may make it worth pursuing.

Pat Tagart has three L21 samples listed in his project now. One is his
own DNA (Scot modal). I know of a fourth in the Leinster modal cluster.
I don't know if the others are funded yet. We have two self-funded
volunteers from the M222 project. Both are from Ireland. They're a GD
of 6 at 37 markers.

I think what you're saying is there is a slight possibility of finding a
new SNP that subdivides perhaps a small portion of M222.
