One thought (and maybe hard in realty) is group GDs by geography not surname. My reasoning is that looking at Ysearch.org I see two M222 Murrays from Ireland. One is from Mayo (certainly to home to Connachta O'Muireadhaigh family) the other is from Meath, which makes me wonder if they are different M222 positive Murray families.

In between the M222 positive Murrays are two non-M222 Murray in Roscommon and Longford. Roscommon is home another O'Muireadaigh family of Clann Uadach of Siol Muireadaigh. The Roscommon Murray closely matches a Fallon (from Kentucky) halpotype. Which to my mind supports the scholars who claim that a number of Siol Muireadaigh families, like the Clann Uadach, are non-Connachta allies of the O'Connors and have been given fake Siol Muireadaigh (Connachta) pedigrees?
