John, Thanks

So the M222 modal is ideal value that only one person obtained? Could I say
their is no dominant central line, just several collateral lines?

Bernard, I should have said those were 37 marker results. I'm sure you can
find some exact matches to the modal at 12 and even 25. In preparing that
file I deleted all 12 marker tests, then deleted the 25 marker tests. You
can't get accurate GDs comparing different sets of markers so I just used the 37
marker set.

It's online if you want to see it yourself but it's a huge file, almost 10
meg. It takes forever to load into a browser but it's faster if you first
download it to your hard disk. I won't guarantee it won't crash your computer
but it eventually loads on mine (takes a while though).

These samples came from the sorted project database from FTDNA. You can go
through the first part of the McGee chart and see how the mutations are
sorted into groups.

<Is the away to differentiate between the different directions of GDs? As
there is no peak at the central modal there must be divergent lines?

I never thought to look for something like that. You might be able to spot
something.
