I've just noticed something interesting on the McDonald website.

http://dna-project.clan-donald-usa.org/

under Results.

If I've understood correctly, the R1b Red group are said to be L21+,M222-
whilst the R1b Green group are L21+,M222+

If this is so, and my understanding that M222+ is a 'child' of L21+ is
correct, this would seem to imply that M222+ almost definitely arose in
Ireland, sprung from L21+.

Or have I got this wrong?
