Could the name migrated and not the people?
The Dumnoii are said to have inhabited Galloway and this is the same area said to be origin point for the Cruithne people of East Ulster. The Ulster Cruithne and Airgiallia people being the non-R1b1c7 people of East Ulster. The Dumnonii I believe are thought to have mirgated to Devon (Dumnoii) and in the fifth century they populate the north coast of Brittainy; they form one of the five provinces of Brittany. The Fir Domnann of Connacht are also thought to Dumnoii and different to the Connachta.
Is R1b1c7 common in Devon/Cornwall or Britainny?
