Not really. If it was going to match any Ui Neill R1b1c7 the closest
possibility are the MacLochlainns of Donegal. The O'Kanes are further down the
tree by several centuries. But that just underscores the point I was trying to
make. We don't see any markers that tie the McLaughlins and O'Kanes together
as related except for the R1b1c7 haplogroup. That's what everyone is
looking for and no one's found anything yet. Maybe you can.
