My McKenzie family is in haplogroup R1b1c7. We have tested to 67 markers and have done the SNP to confirm R1b1c7 +M222.

I have ordered some additional testing on my brother's DNA sample. We just received the results for DYF385 and it is 10 - 11. I can't find anything online to tell me what this means other than "western."

Can anyone give me any further information? I have R1b1c7 people in my Gillespie and Macpherson projects and wanted to do this testing on my own family before I recommend it to my project participants.

I also ordered the test for rs34276300 (rs34276300) but the results have not yet arrived - and I'm not quite sure what that test is supposed to tell me either :-)

My brother is UFEED at ysearch. His kit number is 26794 and results from three members of my family are in the R1b1c7 DNA Project.

There are only a handful of +M222 in the McKenzie project and my family shows mutations that place them away from the others.
