Perhaps we can define a illegitimacy as a "Non-marital Event [nme]"
instead, and thus be more precise in our terminology. There is no such
thing as a non-paternal event, unless the progeny came from a test tube,
from lab created materials... Another thing we have to consider is that
mutations may lead to a R1b1c7 result in a family that may otherwise
(without deeper verification) be assumed to be a base line match.

My father is a result of an Extra-marital Event, and although we know
who the father most likely was, we don't carry that surname.
