Thanks. I take a look at it tonight.

Something is really niggling me for awhile. Do you think it is possible, O'Mullegan could be an anglicised form of O'Melaghlin?

Alan

Allan - the line you're looking for is on p. 161, 1st column, 3rd paragraph.
It appears to be about the same as what appears in Ballymote/and/or
O'Clery. The paragraph starts off "Diarmad mac Fergusa cerrbaill, then the
name
Mael chein appears 9 lines down with the same strange reference to Cenel
Fiachach mac Neill. The next two columns contain pedigrees for O'Melaghlin (O
Maelsechlainn, Kings of Meath, High Kings of Ireland). P. 162 starts some new
pedigrees. One I see is Ui Ceallaigh breagh (top 2nd column).

This is mirrored in the O'Clery Book of Genealogies which follow with:

Genelach .H. Cellaig Breagh

783. Ceallach m Flannocan m Congalaigh m Floind m Ceallachan m Flannocan.

Genelaigh Criche na Cedach

It's probably much the same as the Book of Ballymote which O'Clery often
follows faithfully.
