So here we have another South Midlands/Leinster family who are R1b1c7 and
trace their ancestry not directly back to the Ui Neill, but to the common
ancestors of the Ui Neill and Connachta, "Ugaine Mor", whom they describe as
Milesian. The Milesians were supposed to have arrived from North Western
Spain - today's Galicia - and come originally from Greece or Anatolia
(Turkey).
Here's another possibility. In the MacFirbis genealogies, there is an Ui
Maoil Conaire as part of the Cenel Maine Mac Neill. Someone has written Conry
over the title.
MacFirbis p. 180
Genealach Ui Maoil Conaire.

O Clery has a brief reference to the same family.
822. Nechtan, aenmhac leis .i. Dubh da tuath. Aenmac ag Dub da thuath .i.
Brogan. Da mac la Brogan .i. Selbhach (a quo muinter Tlaman), ocus Flaithgile.

and much the same pedigree:

Is this the same family of O Maoil Conaire in Roscommon or a different one?
