Hi Ray.
No, the Gormley kit (ysearch id 8FB5K) has 455 = 11. I did find an
O'Brien with 455 = 12 on ysearch that is gd = 3 from my brother. The
O'Brien's ysearch ID is DCF5C.
I did go back and look though, and all the Manley/Munnelly/Monnelly kit
ids that I know are from County Mayo (from correspondence in some cases) do
have 455 = 12. This is true for both the ones on ysearch and those in the
Manley DNA surname project. There are some kits that are in both studies
and some that are in only one or the other. I don't know that many of
these have signed up for the R1b1c7 project. My brother is gd = 3 with all
of them.
From everything I can find, the Munnelly/Monnelly name first appeared in
County Mayo in the 1600s. I checked the Dorsey and McHale names on ysearch
also. Three of the 23 Dorseys listed and one of the nine McHales listed
there have 455 = 12. None of the five Gormleys listed has 455 = 12. Only
one of the 38 O'Briens listed on ysearch has 455 = 12.
So I don't think 455 = 12 is a marker for Clann Laoghaire. I am wondering
if it is a marker for the Munnelly/Monnellys from Mayo though?
