My maternal Grandfather was a resident of Belfast, and his male line went
back to 1600's, as documented in records of the Carnmoney Presbyterian Church.
For 300 years his ancestors had been in Ulster, (County Antrim) .

So, it is through his line that I am Scots Irish.

My mother married a genuine Irishman---Kelley.

Although my father's family had been in America since 1850's, he always said
he was more Irish than my mom. Guess so, if you add the Scots Irish to the
equation.
