Hmm.

Not to say you are wrong, BUT...

Do you actually have a sample of his personal DNA? Are you absolutely
certain the reported lines descend from Niall?
Isn't it possible that some of the 'descendants' coincidentally have a
set of markers that match? It seems to me that a lot of assumptions of
fact are loosely getting passed, and that 1500 years of mutations are
being thrown out somehow.

How 'good' is the paper trail that supports these assumptions?

As a person with 40myears of research experience, I think a little
caution would be needed before jumping to that conclusion, unless a LOT
of supporting records were in hand, and a careful multi-path evidence
trail was present. How do we know that one marital unknown misstep
hasn't thrown off the trail?
