I wouldn't worry about that too much. You do have a couple of non-standard
R1b1c7 values in the first 25 which might be why FTDNA doesn't award that
label. I don't have a Nial icon in my FTDNA personal page either but I don't
have any doubt I'm R1b1c7 (KA9RY), a McLaughlin from Donegal. FTDNA calls me
R1b1. I have two non standard NW Irish values in the first 25 markers.
This R1b1c7 designation is fairly new. I wonder if they just give that
designation to new testees and don't update older designations? Or do you have
to be a perfect match to the NW Irish modal to receive it? Surely not
everyone labeled R1b1c7 has tested positive for M222. Someone on this list might
have the answer.
