Several people have told the general genetic genealogy list that they were
not SNP tested yet found "tested" added to their Ysearch entry. But then
they could have been tested by FTDNA without being told they were?
I just tried to change my Ysearch haplogroup entry and could only change it
to one of the many approved haplogroup labels on their drop down list. I
have been haplogroup F before to prove that point. But I think Larry told
how people overwrote the "tested", but I don't remember how it was done and
don't have a "tested" to do experiments on.
Someone who has a "tested" on his ysearch entry could do an experiment.
Change their R1b1c* or whatever it is to F and see if the "tested" remains.
Maybe others will explain. Ken
