Here is the only thing i have on Sinor from Woulfe's page 277-278:

•De Sionuir—XI—de Synors, de Sinors, de Sunors,
Shinnor, Shinnors; Nor. ' de Sinors,' etc., i.e., of
Sinors or Sunors, apparently some spot in England ;
an old, but rare, Anglo-Norman surname found
chiefly in East Limerick and in parts of Connacht.
V. Sionuir.

Hello, Steve. That's a plausible explanation for the Sinor surname. Have
you made any headway in discovering anything new about your own Lamineck
surname? I know you tested M222+ too. You're one of the mysterious R1b1c7s in
Germany. Any new possible links show up to Ireland? I know you were looking
for Lomanaigh septs in ireland the last time we talked.

John
