Hi everyone

In the 1841 census of Glasgow Scotland,my gr.gr.grandfather Hugh McGUNIGAL sic, said that he came from Derry.
In his army record it said he came from Londonderry.
So far I haven't been able to find any records of his birth in Ireland.

My other gr.gr.grandfather James NEVIN/NIVEN also said he was born in Derry in the 1881census of Glasgow Scotland.

Although I'm pleased with the "Big Picture" of my ancestry,I would like to find out more about the McGonigals in Ireland,in the hope that we all could help each other with our search.
