Hi
 
I have found two men (William Denman and Walter Denman) who I believe may be amongst my ancestors, mentioned as being "of Matislond" - they took part in the invasion of the manor in Bishops Tawton, Devon in 1348.
 
Does anyone know where Matislond was? I have googled it but the only results I get are those which mention these two men!
