If you go to Genuki Cheriton Fitzpaine, click on "Nearby Places" on the top line and there is a Cotton listed (1.7 miles NE).  Click on it and then on one of the maps and you will be taken to it on the map.

Dear List,

I wonder if anyone is familiar with a place called Cotton Tenement.
William NUTE, an eight year old "poor child of the parish" of Cheriton
Fitzpaine, was apprenticed by the parish to George Luxton "for Cotton
Tenement."  The only Cotton Tenement I've found reference to is in the
parish of Huxham.

I would be very grateful for any information which might situate William's
apprenticeship location for me.  It's also unclear if George Luxton is a
resident of Cheriton Fitzpaine I can't find or if he is the George Luxton,
bap 1755, in Witheridge, or some other George Luxton. If anyone has any
information about the Luxtons or their holdings, I'd welcome a reply.
