I have followed this James Cunliffe family to 1891 census so far, per my
prior posting to this query. They stayed in Blackburn. James married Ann
Taylor. The 1861 and 1891 says James was born Sunnyside Lancashire. His
profession a baker in all of the census'. Thing is, l cannot see a son named
Robert, after his father. I know this may mean that a son Robert perhaps
died? Reason for me pointing this out is that there are many James
Cunliffes' around that area and am wondering if this family really is yours
Brian?? Was his mother named Martha? If so, this family did not have a
daughter that shows up in any of the census' with this name either. So l may
be following the wrong Cunliffe.
