Hi,
Therein lies my major problem. I contacted the Devon Record Office and it
appears that the baptism book I want for that time is lost. To quote '
1785-1812 baptism register is lost'.
I will order baptisms up to that time but my James and my Prudence appear to
have been born in the time period that I Can't get to.
If anybody has ideas please give them to me. Are there BT's or AT's. I am
not as familiar with Devon as I am with Norfolk and Suffolk.
Marg

Do you know who Prudence's parents are? I have an Agnes Hill who married
George Geen in 1784 in Lynton. Agnes is one of my ggggrandfather's sisters.
