<!--#yiv1714183774 DIV {margin:0px;}-->On A2A there is a document (undated) about a William Parkhouse of Halberton which states "He owned land called Hitchcocks, Beggersbusy, part of Selgars Mills and Shoely, all in Halberton."
Guessing they might be near each other, I looked at Nearby Places on Genuki's Halberton Page and found Hitchcocks Farm. There is a facility to look at various maps and I clicked on the Bing Map and found Selgars Mill just south of it. It is between Uffculme and Willand.

Firstly thanks to Joy and Brian for their messages and help.
Thank you so much for that Joy, I didnt manage to find that map, even tho I had Googled for an Ordnance Map for the Halberton area. I was also looking too close to Haberton for Selgar Mill.
I will try and find the document on A2A, that is where I downloaded this 1660 will from.
I am struggling trying to decipher the Secretary Script, it is slow going, I have probably got about half of the words now, there are 85 lines on two A4 pages, closely written, will carry on trying to get the more difficult words.
I think I have three generations of Humfrey Western/Westron/Westorne etc; in Halberton.
I have found a Humfry Westerne in the Devon Muster Book of 1569, he is an Archer, there is also a John WESTERN in Halberton, described as L10, I think he may be his brother. An L10, had to provide more equipment and armour than an Archer.
The Will I have, is, I think Humfrey the 3rd, and the Archer is probably his father, whom I am calling Humfrey 2nd, so going back to about the first quarter of 1500's all new ground for me, and exciting.
I have discovered on A2A a Tutorial on Secretary Script, I just need to try and get this Silver Surfers brain around it.
Thank you so much for your help, It will be interesting to see if I can uncover a date for the document you mentioned. Going to try and find it now.
Regards
Pat
