Hi Duane

Just found him on the 1881 census, still at Newton Abbott workhouse as a
farm servant but couldn't find him on the 1891 so I would say that the death
in 1883 is your man. Burials I wouldn't know but I'm sure SKS on the list
will be able to help.

Happy hunting!

William Giles - born about 1810 in Lostwithial - on 1861 Newton Abbott
census page , living in a place called Kingkerswell.
On 1871 census - listed as a pauper living in Newton Abbot Workhouse.
1881 census - still in the workhouse listed as pauper, disabled - occupation
farm servant.
Wiliam & his wife split and she came to america in 1857. He somehow ended up
in Devon.
Are there records from the workhouse or some way to find a death record?
