As you can see from the Wiki entry, it is a very informal term that probably
means different things to different people but always includes Devon in the
grouping. If you look at the map, it usually means the counties in the bit of
England that sticks out at the bottom left hand side with the Bristol Channel at
the top and the English Channel at the bottom.
