Help, please, for a dotty old lady who can't remember what she can't
remember!

I'm sure - or I think I'm sure - that within the last week or
fortnight I have read a index, possibly on this site, of references
for Devon Wills (transcriptions of?). NOT the Devon Wills Project.

I have been working on the CARSLAKE family of Sidbury and East Devon
(and Dorset), and have previously seen several family Wills. both PCC
and IRW. This site I dreamed(?) I saw had about half a dozen CARSLAKE
Wills, including two CARSLAKES of Sidbury who died in the 1700s, and
one from East Budleigh; and a couple of Richards, I think, and an
Abraham. Reference numbers were prefixed by WCI(?), and there was a
note that one would have to ask the DRO to check these references, as
their card index system had changed.

As I was wrestling with transcribing a very long and legalistic Will
at the time, I was distracted, and foolishly forgot to save this
link. I could be quite wrong about what I thought I saw; but if this
rings any bells with anyone, please do tell me.

Many thanks

Marion in Aus, DFHS #11884
