Certainly it's possible. However, is it likely? Despite popular
belief, people did move around, so it's entirely possible your man came
from somewhere else.

So far, you only really have one coordinate (the marriage). You need to
find things that give these people ages as a couple, so determine
whether the baptism is likely to be your man. Did they spend time in
the workhouse, or otherwise be in receipt of poor relief, for example.
