Sandra,
If you can wait for a short while the Friends of Devon's Archives are about
to include the c1840 Tithe Apportionments for Devon on their website. This
already includes much useful information about 18th century Devonians at
www.foda.org.uk <http://www.foda.org.uk/>
Regards.

Subject: [DEV] knakersknowle/egg buckland
Hi there,
Just trying to find out if anyone has records of who were land owners
(esquires, gentlemen) of land in the above villages from about 1820-1838. I
have a few births born in these villages and trying to find out who were
major families in the area at the time. Are there any online records of
burials these villages too?
Thanks in advance
Sandra
