The Red Cow pub used to stand at the bottom of St David's Hill. It was empty and vandalised & was finally demolished in, I think, 2006. It had long been a landmark on Exeter maps. The area round it has long been swallowed up by Exeter and is quite close to Exeter St David's railway station
