In Woodbury - A View from the Beacon, Ursula Brighouse mentions Coombe
Common, Coombe Farm, Coombe Park Farm & Coombe Wood. There is no mention of
the Searle family in connection with these locations. As far as I can make
out from a sketch map Coombe Farm is located in the part of Woodbury fairly
near the boundary with Lympstone. I notice also that in the 1524 Lay Subsidy
one of those assessed at Woodbury is described as "at Combe".
