Dear Elizabeth
Thank you. I forgot about A2A, even tho I use it a lot. It lists another of the Shepherds, Mary's brother Abraham, as being apprenticed to Thos too. As Mary's indenture doesn't show up on A2A I guess that even more of the family may have been apprenticed early and not been added to the index yet I'll look for more of them next time I'm in Devon.....
