Hi Ernie,

Was there any chance your PENFOLD people were gypsies?

I have a friend whose PENFOLD relatives were Rom and she had great difficulty
finding the baptisms of children because they were baptised wherever the child
was born. There are some Lists for gypsies and it seems that they were
regularly in certain parts of the country for harvests etc.

If you think they were gypsies, you might find joining one of the lists would
help.
