Heather,
I would have thought that it was more likely that Thyrza was named
after her aunt and that Judith and Thirza were sisters.
In the St. Petrock Newton 1841 cenus there was a Judeth Collacott, age
20, working as a female servant at the parsonage.
There is also a FreeBMD entry for a marriage of Thirza Collacott in
Oct-Dec qtr for 1854 in the Torrington district.
