My gr grandmother's residence at the time of her marriage in 1865 was
Compton Leigh, Mannamed, Nr Plymouth. I know this was a large house in
the Compton area and guess she was in service there. I have been trying
to find out more about the house and who it belonged to but have not had
any joy. Does anyone now anything about it or where I could find out
more? I would love to see a photograph of it if one exists. I am also
interested in Compton Knoll and Wellsbourne, two other large houses that
were in the same vicinity at that time.

Hoping someone will be able to help or point me in the right direction.
