Yes, I see that 1841 appears to say "Not born in County". The eldest
children are Samuel and Elizabeth. There is a James SPILLER or
SPILLAR baptised in Axminster 16 June 1805, son of another Samuel and
Elizabeth. That seems worth investigating. "The Online Parish Clerk
scheme's representative for this parish is Deborah Carmichael, who
invites queries and lookup requests." (See
http://genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk/DEV/Axminster/index.html ) You could ask
her whether Samuel's occupation is mentioned in the register. Was he
a tailor? He seems to have left Axminster (or died) before 1821/2,
and there are no other children in the IGI.
